The 2013 rates have skyrockted some ~25% or more across the board, so here we are partially subsidizing EMS Express Mail's very high cost, which starts well north of $40 and moves up based on a weight in a jiffy!.

This razor's exactly as we'd draw one up; in fact, that's exactly what it is!   6/8" "Shoulderless" round point, cool handle materials, understated blade face, made from carbon steel,...what's not to like? A 6/8" width carbon steel razor with round point and handle made of palisander. Palisander comes from lots of places on earth, though this stuff's now 'farmed' in the ~desert area of Spain. It is full hollow ground, which the vast majority of shavers will ultimately prefer. There's a Dovo lasering at the tang's 'show' side and "Solingen Germany" on the rear...no laser etching on the spine this time 'round as some of the lucky owners of the first run complained they'd worn it off during normal honing.  Nowadays it is hard to find a firm which would dare to engrave by hand on spines, as it tends to create occasional blade problems. This blade's tang's well sculpted for a thumb, so much so it needs no file jimps as upon so many others. Carbon steel blade, ~5mm thick at spine.  Total weight' ~55 grams. 6/8" Width Round point Palisander scale An exclusive at The Superior Shave, in fact Dovo's 2nd rarest production (the "Mammut" is scarcer); a "Best Quality" #100/101 is  >100x more common!  Unfortunately, lead times are outrageously long...we'll certainly run out ~3-6 mos. before 2013's one batch arrives.
