Use the Small Yellow Slurry Stone with any of the stones. We used to lap them, but actually that does more harm then good-they'll get stuck to your hone and not produce much slurry. We're now only getting the "select" grade slurries, too, as that's what the Belgians prefer to supply, but personally I think those worrying about this in a little slurry stone have strange priorities.
01.28.13 UPDATE USPS' minimum rates have skyrocketed, necessitating with-or-without-a-"main"-coticule pricing...the first ounce internationally now costs $6.55 in postage, and you've got to lop on top of that the cost of accepting your overseas money! It is nuts, and I've no doubt it'll harm our little shop, but I guess the USPS' literally fighting for its life, and so we, too, must adapt or die.
$12 (<$30 US Orders Price) $8.50 (>$30 US Orders Price)

Above; who cares about conventions?!?
Shaving/honing is about results-no matter how achieved.
It isn't a figure-skating contest.
Try touch-ups on slurry stones w/ edge/hone perpendicular to ground!
or whatever works for you, of course :-)
Ahh, the "ringtones of the coticule world"; no damn reason to buy them, but people like doing so, and thus we certainly oblige their will, for we have an allegiance only to money, and not to practicality.
We only have select grade slurry stones now, not as if it matters, and I don't even know if these are size 1 or 2 most of the time...
The coolest-looking ones are harvested from the sawdusty
box and shown here. You'll get the exact rock pictured for the price shown; all you need do is make sure you push the right add-to-cart button!
Don't take yourself too seriously, and happy shaving!
Stone #18, far right bottom row.
Little scraps like this are rarely marked by Belgium for vein type, but I shall here declare I believe #1 a "La Verte", #15 a NATURAL COMBINATION STONE, #14 a GLUED COMBINATION STONE. #12's hard as sh*t and also glassy. 16's an awesome combo of creamy-hard.
Approximate dimensions are conveniently listed upon the chalkboard in Bizarro's classroom; look @ the battery and rulers and make your guess and assume they're smaller than that, because for this goods value I'm not going to spend half an hour measuring and editing
USA SHIPPING ONLY: Crazy what these little things cost to post internationally by themselves nowadays ('all by themselves' being how these little bumps of coke are ordered 144% of the time they're purchased) ...you'd have to be nuts to buy one, but if you're so hellbent, feel free to email
We must collect sales tax if shipped within Florida.
